Lost inside

his songs
she shudders
parts her gypsy nights

 scent of jasmine
brings tears to his eyes
dew to her lips

she becomes a flower
in the garden face down

lapping fresh water as
the sun caresses her back

the scent of rain lingers
on his white shirt and
all day at work her name
owns his lips
