his songs
she shudders
parts her gypsy nights
scent of jasmine
brings tears to his eyes
dew to her lips
she becomes a flower
in the garden face down
lapping fresh water as
the sun caresses her back
the scent of rain lingers
on his white shirt and
all day at work her name
owns his lips
