Love Is Blind

the power of your voice
seeps into my bones
peels off my hidden self

your soft words crystallize
that every thing in my life has brought
me to you

I levitate at the sound of your hello
melt like a lollipop when you say my name

each  one of my cells opens - you stake your claim
my breath gushes out filled with your name

and I know all my life was for one thing only
to draw you closer to me

S.

  1. this poem was written in memory of someone I met on line and exchanged poetry with once a week and
spoke on our cells every other day and fell in love with - So yeah, I believe love is blind.

  4. I've known the same feeling you mentioned in your comment Shauna. Really moving when you wrote "I levitate at the sound of your hello." Almost says it all.
